Miniature live steam at The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA. August 1984.

I took this photo during ne of My "Early" visits to The Hesston Steam Museum, way back in August of 1984.

A miniature 7 and 1/2 Inch track guage 4 - 6 -2 live steram Pacific type steam locomotive, is viewed simmering away at the boarding station between runs.

4-6-2 Pacific type locomotives, were used on passenger trains during the steam era. Some ended their careers pulling freight trains when diesel locomotives replaced them on American railroads during the 1950's.

This one is painted up in Southern Railroad green colors.
