One of My happy memories from My early railfanning days during the 1980's, was photographing the many Burlington Northern trains passing through west suburban La Grange Illinois during the wintertime.

I took this photo way bak in January of 1987. We are facing east, just west of Brainard Avenue from the parking lot at Lyons Township High School in La Grange.
The three track Chicago to Aurora Burlington Northern mainline always seemed to have a high volume of train traffic at any given time during My visits.
