Chicago city service vechicle honors the Chicago Cubs. April 2007.

I took this photograph through My cars front windshield, on a rainy morning in April of 2007.
Seen here heading east on West Addison Street at North Sheffield Avenue, is a Chicago Department of Streets and Sanitation Elgin street sweeper. What better way to clean the streets of the Wrigleyville neighborhood, than with a specially painted sweeper vechicle made to look like a Chicago Cubs baseball uniform.
The Chicago Cubs are actually playing some pretty good baseball in 2007. Maybe they will sweep more than just the streets this year. The city of Chicago also has sweepers painted for the White Sox -The Bulls -and the Bears. Da bears.
