Former Grand Trunk Western and Illinois Central EMD locomotives working in the Canadian National Crawford Yard. Chicago Illinois USA. August 2007.

I took this photo on a very hot and humid 96 Degree Chicago afternoon, in early August of 2007. Two EMD roadswitcher locomotives, still carrying the colors and markings of pre merger railroads GTW and I.C, are seen switching tank cars at Crawford Yard in Chicago Illinois. The building in the background, is the old Commonwealth Edison Crawford Generating Station on South Pulaski Road, on the north bank of the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal.
