Former Soo Line caboose brings up the rear. The Belt Railway of Chicago, West 47th Street underpass viaduct. Chicago Illinois USA. July 2007.

I took this photo looking east on West 47th Street , from the corner at South Knox Avenue near Chicago's Midway Airport. A northbound Canadian Pacific intermodal train, has just passed through with a former Soo Line caboose on the rear. Cabooses are rare sights on Chicago freight trains today. The CP Rail is still using some of these old 1970's era wide vision cabooses on transfer runs and switching locals around Chicagoland in 2007. Stilll rolling around in the pre 1990 Soo Line colors and markings.
