CP Rail industrial switching local at work. Bensenville Illinois USA. September 2007.

I was driving north on Wolf Road approaching Green Street, when I spotted this former Soo Line EMD roadswitcher at work just west of Wolf Road. The various industries on this feeder branchline, where getting their freight cars picked up from the spur sidings, and having new cars being spotted for delivery. Industrial switching locals, are part of the supply line for the factories and warehouses in Bensenville Illinois.
These work a day, often unoticed trains, are part of the back bone of working railroads and the crews who work them.
