I took this photo on a late Sunday afternoon, in early September of 1993. A BN double stack intermodal container train, is seen approaching the elevated Highlands Depot in west suburban Hindsdale Illinois. Two years after I had taken this photograph, the Burlington Northern, and the Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe railroad companies would merge and become todays BNSF Railway.
