I took this photo at the Hesston engine house, on a cold and occasionally rainy late October Sunday in 1991. The steam train crew had just finished the last run of the year on the museum's narrow guage railroad line, and now the engine and open summer coaches are being prepared for a long winter hibernation in the enginehouse. It was a cold and damp late autum day, with temperatures in the low to mid 40's and occasional rain and periods of drizzle.Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!
