I took this photo recently, in north suburban Glenview Illinois.
Seen here parked alongside the local Joseph Mullarkey and Sons beverage distributorship, are two classic models of vintage Ford motor Company trucks from the 1970's and 80's eras.
The refrigerator truck in the front, is a Ford L series or "Louisville" model conventional truck. The truck to the rear, is a 1980 Ford 8000 Custom Cab trck tractor.
I grew up with these two models of Ford trucks in Chicago and pretty much took them for granted. Now they are almost all gone from the roads today.
