A local Chicago area railroad that has been very special to Me for many years now, is the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad.

I found this photo at My Link page Fallen Flags.Org, located to the right of Your computer screen at www.rr-fallenflags.org

Railfan photographer Dennis Schmidt photographed this Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad EMD model NW 2 yard switcher locomotive at Hammond Indiana, on July 15th, 1967.

I also enjoyed the IHB, as they were still running these old classic EMD first generation switchers from the late 1940's and early 1950's era throughout the 1970's and early 1980's.Heck! Some of these operated until this decade as well. This locomotive is wearing the IHB's adaptation, of the parent New York Central Railroad's late 1950's era black and white color scheme.
