An all time favorite bus photo I had taken, is this one from April of 1988. It was a mild Spring Saturday afternoon at the Chicago city limits east of Summit Illinois, as this unique and tastefully colorfull Suburban Transit bus from pre Pace times, waits for the southbound turning arrow traffic signal onto Harlem Avenue from Archer.Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!

Wow, Mr N Markets is now Joe and Frank's! Wasn't it Steven's at one time like Gilmart used to be?
Hi Tom!
I don't really recall that one.
I do remember that the Walgreens on the northeast corner used to be a Mobile gasoline station around this time.
I am glad that I photographed it when I did in April of 1988.
Thank You.
Eddie.
It was an Ace Hardware right before it became Joan and Frank's.
