I took this photo one morning, in early December of 2006. It is the start of the Winter season in Chicago, and the Amtrak coach yard is alive with activity on this sunny but chilly winter morning. It is the Hiliday travel season, and Amtrak crews are seen servicing their fleet of Superliner long distance coaches, and stocking them with food provisions from the nearby Amtrak commisary. I took this photo looking south from the West Roosevelt Road overpass bridge, just south of downtown Chicago Illinois near Union Station.
