Transportations historic past and present examples meet. Kenosha Wisconsin USA. September 2000.

Kenosha Transit RTS bus and a refurbished 1951 PCC streetcar from the Toronto transit Commision. Kenosha Wisconsin. September 2000.

I took this photo on a September 2000 chartered fantrip I had went on, with
a group from the Chicago Chapter of the Omnibus Society of America, and also
from the Midwest Transit Bus Museum located in Crest Hill Illinois. Our motorcoach
trip took us to the East Troy Electric Railroad and Museum in nearby East Troy
Wisconsin. Later in the day, we visited downtown Kenosha Wisconsn, to ride and
photograph their then "New" vintage historical streetcar line opened on Saturday,
June 17th, 2000. Here we see a Kenosha Transit GMC RTS model transit coach, and a
refurbished 1951 vintage PCC electric streetcar originally from the Toronto Transit
Commision in Canada. The streetcar is seen in 1940's era Chicago CTA colors and markings.
