I took this photo in September of 2006, while passing through Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood on West Belmont Avenue. A Chicago Transit Authority articulated bus, is seen waiting at the terminal turn a round loop at West Belmont Avenue and North Halsted StreetPrior to the officiall end of CTA electric trolley bus operations in 1973, this loop served the electric CTA trolleybuses of the Route # 77 Belmont Avenue bus line. This was the east terminal.
