Former Wisconsin Central EMD roadswitcher above West Lawrence Avenue. Schiller Park Illinois. July 2008.

Railroads come and railroads go. At least through bankruptcies, abandonements and the ever possible "Merger". The midwest regional railroad railroad Wisconsin Central was bought out and absorbed through merger with the Canadian National in recent years. This fallen flag ex Wisconsin Central unit was photographed on top of the Lawrence Avenue viaduct in near northwest suburban Schiller Park Illinois, on a hot summe afternoon in July of 2008.
