Switching activity at the Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard. Bedford Park Illinois USA. March 2008.

I took this photo one evening after work last year, in March of 2008. A rebuilt 1970's era EMD end cab yard switcher locomotive, is seen just east of the north entrance to Clearing Yard on South Central Avenue. The locomotive crew, is spotting cars on the many sidings along the industrial bypass line, wich runs paralel along the northside of Clearing Yard.
