I took this photo on a pleasant summer evening, in June of 2008. We are looking east from the 75th Avenue railroad crossing in near northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois. A westbound Canadian National transfer freight train has finally recieved a green signal, and is now reving up under heavy locad conditions and proceeding slowly. The train appears to be enroute to the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road Bensenville Yard facility near Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. The locomotives up front appear to be brand new, and are proboubly pulling one of their first revenue service freight trains.
