1990's era gray Illinois Central outside braced 40 foot Hi Cube boxcar. Crawford Yard. Chicago Illinois. June 2008.

I took this photo on a June 2008 visit to the Canadian National Railroad's former Illinois Central Crawford Yard at the Chicago city limits near Cicero Illinois. This gray color scheme and unique logo, was the last color scheme combination used by the now fallen flag railroad Illinois Central before the 1999 merger and acquisition by the Canadian National Railroad.
