Welcome aboard the "Bus Day" edition of Eddie's Railfan Page!

Eddie K and a Kenosha Transit 1975 GMC fishbowl windshield bus. Kenosha Wisconsin. April 2000.

Hello everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page.
Here I am, Your host and photographer in the front doorway of a soon to be retired Kenosha Transit 1975 GMC Fishbowl windshield TDH series transit bus. This photo was taken on Saturday, April 29th, 2000 in Kenosha Wisconsin.

The occassion was a special GMC Fishbowl Windshield bus charter, that was sponsored by the Chicago Chapter of the Omnibus Society of America. ( A group of bus fans.)
Age and mechanical issues were approaching the fleet of 1975 GMC buses that were still in daily but somewhat limited use at Kenosha Transit. Newer GMC RTS model transit buses were covering most of the commuter assignments, and a brand new NOVA low floor transit bus was already on the roster, with more on order at this time.

An 1970's vintage bus era would soon be ending in a few years at Kenosha Transit.
