I took this photo after work one afternoon, in May of 2007. EMD roadswitchers in the colors and markings of the Canadian National, and the fallen flag railroad Grand Trunk Western, are viewed switching a cut of tank cars at the former Illinois Central Crawford Yard. This yard is located at the Chicago city limits, just mere footsteps away from west suburban Cicero Illinois and the adjacent Hawthorne Junction.
