welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago Illinois.
One favorite local food item many people associate with Chicago, is hot dogs.
The Greater Chicagoland Area has many of these fast food roadside hot dog stands.
Henry's Drive In shown here, has been in business at this location on Ogden Avenue / Illinois U.S Route # 34 just west of Austin Avenue, since 1950. I have been eating here on and off since 1971. This part of Ogden Avenue in years past, was once part of Illinois U.S Route # 66. Today there are metal heritage signs indicating that this is old Route # 66 on many of the lamp posts that line Ogden Avenue.
I still enjoy coming here once in awhile.
