I took this photo on a lovely and very mild Autum morning, in October of 2006. We are looking west from the south or "Eastbound" platform of the Metra ex Milwaukee Road, Western Avenue commuter rail station west of downtown Chicago Illinois. A blue Metra EMD yard switcher, is viewed spotting cars at the nearby California Avenue coach yard and maintenance facility near Grand and California Avenues.
