I took this photo during My lunchbreak one morning, in early November of 2009.
Seen here parked on a railroad siding east of adjacent Lehigh Avenue, is a Metra maintenance of way department Burro crane with a boom tender car. This is an example of the equipment required to maintain the infrastructure of a busy railroad line.
This Burro crane was parked on a siding with it's diesel engine idling.
