Refurbished yellow Brill 4 wheel trolley car built in the early 1900's. The Memphis Main Street Trolley. Memphis Tennesee USA. September 2007.
I took this photo looking east on Madison Avenue toward Main Street in downtown Memphis Tennesee, during a September 2007 vacation My wife and I went on.
This refurbished yellow 4 wheeled trolley car, was built by the J.G Brill Company of Philadelphia Pennsylvania during the very early 1900's. This particular trolley car, served the city of Oporto Portugal for many decades. It has been lovingly restored and now operates today on the Memphis Main Street Trolley line in downtown Memphis Tennesee. It is typical of American streetcars from the early 1900's.
