One very unique bus I happened to photograph, was this early 1970's era International Harvester former School Bus being utilized by the Belt Railway of Chicago section track crew. There was a crew of railroad track workers or "Gandy Dancers" as they were known as in many decades past, on location making track repairs and adjustments on the southwest side of Chicago at Hayford Junction.
No longer hauling students, this bus was transporting workers from the Belt Railway of Chicago track department to trackside job sites back in 1984.
