A Chicago & NorthWestern and Santa Fe two train meet. Photographed at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club. Oak Park Illinois. March 2014.

I took this photograph last week Wednsday night, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

For camera carrying railfans like myself and many of my fellow contemporaries, there is nothing like being on location with your camera, just when one of those two train meets on a busy maniline comes by at your location.

Fellow club member Chuck Colin, was operating his modern era Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad "Sand Train" made up of several short  Iron Ore cars. My 1960's and early 1970's era Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad "Auto Parts" train made up of six Pulman Standard 60 foot box cars, is viewed meeting Chuck's train on the elevated mainline right of way over the urban viaduct scene.

Nice photo opportunity.

Thanks Chuck!

Your buddy Eddie K.
