I took this photograph at work one early morning around sunrise, in north suburban Wilmette Illinois.

I had an hour before my first passenger pick up of the day as a paratransit driver, and had the time to temporarily park my mini bus, and take this snap shot.

A southbound early morning Metra local commuter train, is preparing to depart from the Wilmette Illinois Metra commuter rail station. This photograph was taken at the Central Avenue railroad crossing in Wilmette.
