A Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad freight train moving along the mainline.

The former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad is alive and well, at least in H.O Scale anyway.

Fellow club member and good friend Chuck Colin, was operating his realistic heavily weathered looking Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad freight train this past Wednsday night, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.

This bay window caboose and the Union Pacific box car ahead of it, look like they have spent some serious time outdoors in all kinds of weather 24 -7 just like their prototype counterparts did in regular everyday railroad service.

Nice model train Chuck! Thanks for bringing back some Chicago area C & N,W memories for me.
