I photographed this digital live sound video looking north at the 75th Avenue railroad crossing, in near northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois.

It is the afternoon of New Years Eve 2009, as an eastbound empty BNSF Railway / Wisconsin Electric Power Company unit coal train passes through Elmwood Park Illinois over the Canadian Pacific Railroad. Notice the pusher locomotives on the rear of this coal train.

The train is heading eastbound where it will interchange on to the Belt Railway of Chicago at Cragin Junction. From the Belt Railway of Chicago, it will head westbound on to the BNSF Railway, and eventually head back out to the coal mines in the State of Wyoming.
