I took this photo on a bitterly cold but very sunny morning nonetheless, at Hawthorne Junction located on the Chicago city limits at west suburban Cicero Illinois.
A northbound Canadian National heavy transfer freight train was passing through here at the crosstracks upon My arrival. This 1970's era cascade green former Burlington Northern Railroad covered hopper in un grafitti tagged condition caught My attention.
We are facing west toward the village boundry of Cicero Illinois.

Love your photos, especially when you commit a crime, like going on private property and breaking many safety regs, like standing in the middle of the tracks. One day you are going to be arrested for doing this!
