I took this photo on a cold and windy January morning back in 2007.
This is a rare photo of one of those special movements. This BNSF Railway one car intermodal extra, is viewed at South Lawndale Avenue at approximately West 49th Street. The train is departing from the former Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad Corwith Yard, and is now slowly proceeding westbound over a heavilly balasted Belt Railway of Chicago owned single track branchline.
