The original 1960's era White Castle restaurant at South Archer and Kedzie Avenues in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood. March 1985.
I took this photo way back in March of 1985.
Seen here on the northwest corner of South Archer and Kedzie Avenues, is the original 1960's era White Castle fast food restaurant that stood here for many years.
The old building shown here, was undergoing demolition preparations, as a new White Castle was being constructed adjacent to the old one immediately to the north.
The replacement White Castle building that was erected here, is still in business at this location today, and serving those little White Castle "Slider" hamburgers.
