Preserved 0-4-0 -T side tank meter guage steam locomotive from Czechloslovakia. The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA.
This photo here, is actually from a picture postcard I had purchased inside the gift shop at The Hesston Steam Museum in northwest Indiana.
This black and white view, is proboubly from 1987 when this locomotive was acquired. Notice the Ingersol Rand air portable industrial air compressor on the flatcar coupled to the locomotive. The Czech steam locomotive was proboubly being tested and operated with compressed air prior to the final mechanical departments evaluation.
This coal burning steam locomotive operates at The Hesston Steam Museum from opening day on Memorial Day Weekend, until the end of the season in late October.
