Westbound Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe empty flatcar train. Chicago Illinois USA. Early April 1989.
I took this photo in the city of Chicago Illinois looking down from the west side of the South Pulaski Road overpass bridge, in early April of 1989.
A westbound Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe Railroad train of empty flatcars, is viewed passing the South Pulaski Road overpass bridge west of their busy Corwith Yard facility. The train has more than likely just left Corwith Yard, and is running as an extra or transfer run. The straw brown left over winer scenery, will soon be giving way to lovely shades of green in a matter of days.
