I took this photo during My morning lunch break one cold Winter day, in February of 2010. We are looking west from the north side of Maple Avenue in north suburban Wilmette Illinois. Seen here is the CTA purple line rapid transit railroad crossing that crosses Maple Avenue, and enters the Linden Avenue terminal and yard at the end of the line.
The occasional arrivals and departures from Linden Avenue terminal, break the silence of a quiet Winter day.
