One of the more architecturally pleasing train stations in the greater Chicagoland area, is the somewhat European flavored Metra commuter rail station in upscale north suburban Highland Park Illinois.
This depot is located on the Metra / Union Pacific north line to Kenosha Wisconsin, and in recent years past was a former Chicago & Northwestern Railroad facility.
