I find it hard to believe that it has actually been 20 years ago this month when I had taken this photograph in west suburban La Grange Park Illinois.
Seen here on a crystal clear but still chilly nonetheless kind of day in early March of 1990, is a southbound Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad slow moving transfer freight train. The IHB train had just recieved clearance to proceed from the dispatcher, upon meeting the northbound Norfolk Southern train in the background near the 31st Street railroad crossing.
