Digital Live Sound Video: MTH O'Scale CTA 6000 series rapid transit train rounding the south curve at Chicagoland Hobby. Chicago Illinois USA..
Even though the old 1950's era Chicago Transit Authority 6000 series rapid transit cars have long since been retired from service with many winding up in railroad museums, You can still find a place or two around Chicago where You can still see them operating even if they are in miniature.
I photographed this digital live sound video at Chicagoland Hobby, located at 6017 Northwest Highway in Chicago's Norwood Park neighborhood. While this isn't exactly the famous CTA rapid transit curve at Lake Street and Wabash Avenue in the downtown Chicago loop, this miniature representation looks impressive rounding the south curve on the store's in house elevated railroad line.
