I took this photo on a sunny and actually mild morning, back in December of 2006.
With a weather report indicating a day time high temperature in the low 50's and plenty of sunshine....It was a great morning to go on location trackside with a camera in hand.
Seen here, is an eastbound BNSF Railway unit coal train approaching the Prairie Avenue railroad crossing, in west suburban Brookfield Illinois.
