Kiddieland Amusement Park in December of 2007.
I took this photo at the intersection of North and First Avenues, in near northwest suburban Melrose Park Illinois.
Although the old Kiddieland Amusement Park seen here had closed in 2009 and was demolished in 2010 for the new Costco warehouse club store....I had the opportunity to take many photos of it during it's last years of operation.
I took this rare off season photo back in December of 2007.
Every December, the amusement park's east parking lot was the site of a traveling Cristmas Tree sales lot. I even miss seeing this today. Open or closed...Kiddieland was a colorful place.
