Northbound Burlington Northern transfer train passing through Chicago's historic Brighton Junction. Chicago Illinois. January 1988.

I took this photo during a dry, cold and windy Winter afternoon way back in January of 1988.

We are facing north at Chicago's Brighton Junction, located just west of the intersection of South Archer and Western Avenues on the near southwest side of Chicago.

A northbound Burlington Northern transfer train, is viewed passing through the old manual steam era semaphore signals that stood here until July of 2007.
