Bridge and superstructure details of a huge Canadian great lakes freighter ship. Chicago Illinois USA. Sunday, March 4th, 2012.

I took this photograph in early March of this year.

It was a cloudy, windy and cold 34 degrees Farenheight outside on this day, but it was all just business as usual on the Calumet River on the far southeast side of Chicago near the Indiana border.

A southbound Canadian great lakes freighter ship from the former Algoma Central Railroad, has just passed through the opened East 95th Street drawbridge.

This view from the west bank of the Calumet River, shows off the bridge and superstructure details on this big ship.
