During the 1980's, one of My favorite Summertime activities growing up in the city of Chicago Illinois, was visiting the various neighborhood Summer church carnivals.
I took this photograph way back in June of 1987.
Seen here is the annual Summer carnival, at the Saint Clair of Montifalco Catholic Church Parish at West 54th Street and South Washtenaw Avenue, in Chicago's Gage Park neighborhood on the southwest side of Chicago.
The late day sun was well into the western sky, and the carnival was opening for the upcoming evening session.
