Franklin Park Railroad Daze carnival. Saturday, June 9th, 2012.

I took this photograph earlier this month, at the annual Franklin Park Railroad Daze carnival, in northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois.

One of many bands who entertained at the festival, was the local Chicago area Beatles tribute cover band American English.

For those who have always enjoyed the 1960's era rock and roll hit songs from the original Beatles but have never seen American English perform.....What are You waiting for?

American English has come a long way from that beatles impersonator band that played My old alma mater Curie High School back in 1980, to a really astounding and very tasteful tribute band honoring the original Fab Four from England.

At any given show, this group reanacts the "Entire beatles Experience" from the begining days with songs like "Twist and Shout" to the ending of the group in 1970 with "Let it be", and many other hits along the way.

American English played a very limited timeslot during the show, and performed an abreviated but very tasteful program of songs by "The Beatles" for many people in the audience who enjoyed singing along.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
