A popular railroad amongst Chicago area raillfans for many years, was the former Milwaukee Road.
I found this wonderful historic mid 1970's era photograph from the former Milwaukee Road at My Link page Fallen Flags.Org, located to the right of Your computer screen at http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/
Railfan photographer Dennis Schmidt, photographed Milwaukee Road EMD SW 1200 yard switcher locomotive # 652, basking in bright sunshine at Bensenville Yard way back in September of 1975.
Notice the unusual spark Arresters / Mufflers attatched to the locomotive's own smokestacks.
