I found this historic 1950's era color photograph from Chicago's Riverview Park on the internet recently.
Seen here is the Blue Streak Roller Coaster ride, wich I believe was located on the midway near the Western Avenue entrance.
Riverview Park existed from 1904 to 1967, and is greatly missed by many surviving former Riverview Park patrons today in the greater Chicagoland area.
Today, this is the site of the Riverview Plaza Shopping Center mall on North Western Avenue.
Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!
