Two Belt Railway of Chicago EMD roadswitchers at work near the BRC West 68th Street Wye. Clearing Yard. Chicago Illinois. July 2007.

I took this photograph one hot summer afternoon, back in July of 2007.

Two Belt Railway of Chicago EMD roadswitchers, are viewed shoving a cut of cars in to the Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard facility near Chicago's Midway Airport.

This photograph was taken from the top of the South Cicero Avenue overpass bridge, looking east in to the Chicago side of Clearing Yard. To the upper right of the photograph, is the BRC's own West 68th Street wye junction, wich is actually the north entrance to Clearing Yard.
