A 1950's and 60's era Santa Fe freight train rounds the mainline curve alongside the scrap yard.

I took this photograph recently, at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers,H.O Scale Model Railroad Club in Oak Park Illinois.

My 1950's and 60's era Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe local freight train, is viewed passing the scrap yard along one of the mainline curves on the club layout.

Prior to 1966, Santa Fe cabooses wore this very "Plain" brown solid color scheme with simple ATSF lettering on the sides.

Thanks.
