I took this photo during a short lunchtime visit to north suburban Wilmette Illinois one lovely Autum morning, in October of 2009. We are looking west on Maple Avenue amongst colorful Autum foliage, at the Maple Avenue bridge. This classic iron deck bridge built in 1908 and still in service today, spans the north branch of the Chicago River. It is a scenic photo location anytime.
