Westbound Metra Hi Rail maintenance of way truck. River Grove Illinois. December 2006.





Hi everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.

I took this photo one day, in December of 2006 during a "mild Spell" in the local Chicago early winter weather. It was approximately 50 degrees outside at the time of this photo. In December mind You!

A westbound Metra Hi Rail equipped track inspectors pick up truck, is viewed approaching the River Grove Metra commuter rail station, after crossing Thatcher Avenue.

Questhoff's Flowers in the background, has since relocated, and their business here was soon demolished. Today it is an empty lot.
